The technique is defined by a practice referred to as “laying on of hands.” The fully clothed patient reclines on a couch or table as the therapist hones in on energy pathways throughout the body. The therapist’s hands then act as conduits of universal life force energy sometimes referred to in different traditions as prana or chi.  Reiki Can be performed on or off of the body sometimes as far away as a few feet. People often report a profound feeling of relaxation and calm that washes over the body during these sessions—some drift off to sleep, and others claim to experience out-of-body visions.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is one of the oldest healing arts, with references in medical texts from ancient China, Egypt, India, and Greece. It is a hands-on modality that involves the systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body—including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin—to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, reduce stress, and support overall health and well-being.

Craniosacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.

Polarity Therapy

Polarity Therapy is the art and science of stimulating and balancing the flow of life energy within the human being. The term Polarity relates to one of the fundamental laws of nature, namely the attraction and union of opposites through a balanced middle point.
